No more traveling overseas to get your dose of H&M goodies or crying that you could not get that H&M collaboration pieces as H&M always collaborates with really good designers which I just adore. Singapore with have our own H&M. Finally after such a long time. It will be at the Orchard Building come this September. Oh please, you can wait that long. Blink blink blink and the gorgeous H&M will be right in front of you. It will span 3 levels and everything from womens to mens and kids will be available. So exciting isn't it. Now a sneak peek of what is to come when H&M comes to our sunny island. Got to see a few pieces before it goes on sale and it is just stunning. For their Fall/Winter 2011 collection, think 70s mod with colours for women and tweed, dark, preppy british boy for the mens. Plus I think Karlie Kloss looks amazing int he clothes and a great choice to be the face for their fall/winter collection.

Met Sheila Sim backstage before the alldressedup and Antonio Berardi show. I saw her and was a little scared to say hello but finally did with a nice hello back from her. She was really nice and polite too. Super friendly and very warm to talk to. No diva, drama mama there. She was real and she was nice enough to let me take a photo of her.Singapore's Top Model Sheila Sim walks for almost every show during the Audi Fashion festival and I must say, she has the best walk. Fierce, confident but not over doing it. One of the nicest models I've met backstage. She is so cute and very pretty.

The PARCO next NEXT show at the Audi Fashion Festival was so full on energy. Various designers from Parco showcased their latest work and boy was it good. The finale was so heartwarming, to see everyone and all the models dancing and smiling really made the runway full of positivity. Also there were loads of colour blocking for the menswear which I so love. Neon, bright coloured, colour blocking is the way to go. There were so many unique and innovative designs which really caught my eyes. Thank you Parco for having me and getting me a good seat at the show. It was refreshing, youthful and the energy of the show was enough to keep me at the edge of my seat wanting more. When I asked peopel how was the show everyone thought it was a great show, nice length, great music, models and definitely the clothes.

I literally felt the wind when the guy walked past.

AFF 2011: whimsical fairytale with MISSONI

Got the chance to attend the Missoni show at the first day of the Audi Fashion Festival 2011 by AFX which was a great show. A huge thank you to the people at xinmsn and AFX for giving me the opportunity to attend the shows at AFF. What a great experience so far.

People attending the show were in full on colour, prints and of course many were in Missoni. The Missoni family was in town and it was a very intimate affair in the tent during the show as the you could see the unity of the Missoni family during the show.

The Missoni family showcased their gorgeous A/W 2011 collection with us and I must say the show was just breathtaking. The models were beautiful with sleek backed hair and bold red lips. The collection was very whimsical and had a sense of fairytale drama, yet soft and light. It had the Missoni touch and creative director Angele Missoni was so humble during the whole time even at the press conference and at the end of the show.

Lots of chunky oversized knitwear that was in. Of course the python coats, trenches and jackets which I am sure it cost a ton was very much loved by everyone. The colours were soft and pastel with beautiful patterns which I personally love. The gorgeous oversized knitwear that fit loosely on the models looked so good on the runway and it seemed to float down the runway with so much glamour.

Terrific Tao

Got to meet Tao Okamoto at the press conference at St. Regis before the Missoni show and she was very cute with her short cropped hair and with her lanky look, it did justice to the Missoni dress she wore to the press conference. She spoke really softly with her cute Japanese accent. I was at awe with her beauty up close and her oh so skinny figure. She was so polite, kind and really heartwarming. Tao was swamped with interviewers and Raph from Xinmsn, who is so fun to be withduring AFF, got to interview Tao. I swear Tao is one of those no drama, no diva attitude models who is just amazing at what she does and is loved for her Asian presence in the fashion industry. Tao's walk and presence really captured everyone's attention.

let the crazy begin

So more blog post about the Audi Fashion Festival (AFF) coming soon. as I am now an AFX Blogger covering AFF and Blueprint. My invites are in and I foresee a fun, crazy packed week ahead.

In the meantime, having a great time at the Audi Fashion Fest talking to people, meeting new people and just people watching. Soaking up the fashion atmosphere and taking it bit by bit as it can be overwhelming for a boy who is not used to such big scale events. Most of the time I will be in the media lounge just enjoying the peace having a drink or having food in my mouth , away from the hardcore fashionista and crazy people who I do not even know and afraid to talk to. Day by day I am building my confidence to talk to people.

Met really nice people from the Xinmsn and Microsoft team and other cool bloggers and you know those "fashion" people who god knows what they do but they look fantastic and are really nice. Yeah those people. Made nice friends too who were really helpful and nice.

block that neon

BAM it hit me and another BAM. And it just went BAM BAM BAM everytime I saw another picture from this fashion spread. It wasn't just about colour blocking. It was bloody neon blocking. Block that neon in every brightly florescent colour possible. I love my bright colour that will blind someone instant with the first glance of this spread. This just makes me smile with so many happy crazy thought. I just moaned in pleasure with every styling, colour and look in each photo. To me this is colour blocking at its best! This is the extreme, no pastel, no bland colours, just big, bright, bold and in your face. Even the colour blind will be blinded by these gorgeous choice of colours.

Iffah and me have been doing shit together which is very private. If you knew we had to kill you chop you up and burn your remains. Yes it is that important to keep it under wraps. It is all about reputation baby.

Haven't gotten to blog for awhile and I have great exciting news which I do not want to reveal just yet until things are confirmed but keeping my fingers crossed that if everything goes well, its another step forward for me and this blog. Baby steps. Bit by bit.

Beautiful coloured socks were on sale and of course I had to grab it in whatever colour possible. The colours are endless. Love my mustard coloured Uniqlo socks.

Felix Loo, an aspiring street style photographer who was so polite and really shy, took this photo and the location where he took it make me feel so fat and bloated. It just had to be a food court where I was just about to grab something to eat. Yes eat. But Felix did a great job. Thanks Felix.

The late Alexander McQueen always had a sense of fantasy, filled with so much emotions in his creations. I feel that you must dream to be able to wear one of his pieces and do justice to it. His work over the years are just distinctively him with its whimsical themes which makes me go oh gosh. Not everyone can wear a piece of Mcqueen and I dare say some people did not know about him or his previous work or anything about him or his brand before he died. Only when someone dies will he be remembered and be loved even more. Only when some is away from our lives will we then cherish the past. Blah.

So if you have the amazing styling power of the recent birthday girl Grace Coddington, who turned 70 by the way, and the amazing photgrapher Steven Meisel whose work is just astonishingly fantastic who has done so much great work. Only these two can bring justice to an Alexander McQueen tribute fashion spread showcasing his works over the years. And of course choose only the good models with a figure that can fit nicely into a Alexander Mcqueen piece and do justice to it. Models, Coco Rocha, Karen Elson, Caroline Trentini, Raquel Zimmerman and Karlie Kloss and did great justice to McQueen's pieces with timeless elegance.

This fashion spread is in the May issue of Vogue US and I must say the styling is just fantastic and love the theme of the shoot. Oh and Raquel, that body is banging with those muscles and that intensity. And Karlie those legs look amazingly toned. Every shot was beautiful and it brought out the McQueen essence.

These few days have been dressing like a hobo slash "I don't have money to have nice tings but I know about nice things". Hope it makes sense. Have been dancing my buttocks off for rehearsal for the musical that will be in and I hope it will turn out great. Yes I do have faith in it with a touch of positivity. Loving my bitter buddy with all the bitterness and all that jazz. A super fun amateur runway video done at the Swedish haven Ikea will be shown soon with my fingers crossed and hoping it will be done soon.

School is starting soon and raiding my mum's closet and just throwing things here and there and lets see what works with this and that. Dance naked with some sexy music while getting dressed is so much fun because that is what I do.

When you put three of the most up and coming models who have very distinct looks with gorgeous styling and photograph them together you will get an amazing fashion spread. Each model have their own individual look which makes them recognisable instantly. Lindsey Wixon, Daphne Groeneveld and Kristina Salinovic are styled so beautifully from head to toe in the finest fashion and of course photographed by Steven Meisel for the April 2011 issue of Vogue Italia. The styling is just so out there with the hair and make up which I am in love with.

When you put all three of them together, each of them stand out individually in their own way. From Lindsey's seductive bee stung lips to Daphne's bleached and non existing eyebrows and Kristina's angular features. The trio look good separately but together they just exudes high fashion where it isn't about the cookie cutter pretty girls but girls with special features which makes them who they are. We love ugly models whose look might be shunned by people but loved by the fashion industry.

Ben Sherman Spring Party 2011

Yesterday I got to attend the Ben Sherman Spring Party at their Paragon outlet. Accompanied by the crazy duo, Iffah Rakinah and Dyan Hidayat. The party started off a little mellow but got a little groovy when Fun Jam Band consisting of Zi Jie, Guohao and the only female in the group, Ein Ein performed their own renditions of popular pop tunes which I personally was trying by best not to start rapping in the middle of their performance. They were all geared up in Ben Sherman, even Ein Ein wore a men’s Ben Sherman tee, which looks so good on her.

There were free flow of Steinlager Pure beer but of course the party was for us to take a look at Ben Sherman’s Spring/Summer 2011 collection, which was bright and full of colour. Ben Sherman is always known for their shirt, which always has that Ben Sherman touch to it. Love their checkered shirts, which looks amazing even on girls to be honest. Button up a Ben Sherman checked shirt from their Spring collection and you will instantly have that British preppy chic look, pairing it with chinos or even denim. The spring collection has loads of checkered in different colours and sizes where you can just go crazy. You can never go wrong with a simple checkered Ben Sherman shirt. I just love how Ben Sherman exudes the British preppy chic boy look just effortlessly without trying to hard.

Camp has ended and it was crazy fun filled mamachita mochacha nonsense camp. Loved it and made new friends and established myself as the scene slut. SWEET TOOTH

Vogue Australia always has the most colurful, fruity and eye catching covers. There is always something fun, refreshing and bold with the Australian version of Vogue. They tend to stand out with splashes of neon and they just love playing with colours. My favourite cover so far from Vogue was their March 2011 issue which was pure geniues. Minimal words on the cover which I love, as too much words on the cover just clutters it and I get confused easily. With a colourful heading and a model that was working the whole Prada emsemble from head to toe, it was a sure win.

So in the May issue of Vogue Ausstralia, this fashion spread caught my fruity eye and hunger for colour. I WANT CANDY! I spy some Prada, some Miu Miu and Louis Vuitton. You can;t go colour without Spring/Summer 2011 Prada. Now the hair is another thing. The colour just makes me want to lick it. Redish pink, a little orange and yellow on the hair is just amazing. It just makes me want to rip the hair out of the model and put on different parts of my body. Crazy, I know! Styled by Naomi Smith and photographed by one of my favourite photographers Kai Z Feng.

Coitus Magazine 2nd issue

I have always been a supporter of Pantelis and his work with the 1st issue of Coitus Magazine. Received the second issue which took awhile after the successful 1st Issue with River Viiperi on the cover. I really think that the Coitus Magazine cover was one of the reason River became the 'IT' model of the moment and is loved by many. So I got the Coitus Magazine with River on the cover. They also had a cover with Francisco Lachowski on it, and i heard it is completely sold out. Woah. Loving River on the cover but it was true that there's maybe too much make up on River but nonetheless he looked great on the cover. Of course inside were works by Pantelis other awesome photographers and models which was very much loved. I tell you, ever page you turn to will make you go Oh Oh Oh Ok Woah Oh in a good way. Every model casted and photographed looked great. Loving the 2nd issue Coitus and will always supported you guys since day 1! So when will be the 3rd issue and who will be on the cover?

Rick Genest or Ricco or also known as Zombie Boy is the face of Mugler and walked exclusively for the Mugler show in Paris. He is known for his full body tattoos which resembles that of the human body in its skeletal form. Rick also is the muse for Lady Gaga's stylist and the creative director for Mugler, Nicola Formichetti who is also an amazing and sought after stylist. I am in love with Nicola's work with his take on the aesthetics of fashion and his love for something different and daring. So Rick Genest is in the Spring/Summer 2011 edition of Vogue Hommes Japan styled by none other than Nicola Formichetti and photographed by Mariano Vivanco and he is wearing, but of course, Mugler. There is something dark and scary feel about this spread. To me Rick's tattoo and his unique look is the main focus and he could be wearing nothing and still look this intense. Some people may not like it but it is something different which the fashion and modeling industry for men needs. So Rick is the answer that we are looking for, unique and a strong sense of presence.

boys, men and a party

The preview party for the launch on Men's Fashion Week in Singapore was held at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands 2 days ago with chi chi food and drinks and everyone was dressed so fircely fashionable that it was intimidating. Plus there were games which the prizes, oh my god, were just amazing. Sadly I didn't win anything. There were so many beautiful people were everywhere. This is the third country to have a dedicated fashion week for men other than Paris and Milan and the only one in Asia. Not bad Singapore. It will be staged in Singapore from 30 March to 3 April 2011. Headed by the fine Frank Cintamani who by the way looked good during the preview party. So did Utt and Julian Hee who are the faces of MFW. It was a crowded party and got a sneak peek of what's to come during the MFW where regional and international designers and brands will be showcasing their men's collection. Not to forget a ton of male models who will be parading down the catwalk. Now that is something to look out for too.

The pictures may not be fantastic, plus I am short so I could see much from where I was standing. Here are some shots.

Rihanna is Vogue-ing

Rihanna is on the April issue of Vogue US shot by the amazing Annie Leibovitz. Rihanna looked mermaid like on the cover with her loud red hair. Just to add on, her hair looks amazing. She looking amazing because she knows she is the only girl in the world and she is on top of her game right now. Everyone is dying their hair red just like Ms Rihanna, first it was shaving the sides now it is Red lucious looking hair. She shows of her body which she knows she has on the pages of Vogue working every curve her mama gave her. The shots are beautiful and it was feminine, soft and very theatrical. Unlike others she has done before which were very dark and intense like the one she did for Vogue Italia. She is always seen in magazines looking too sexual and provocative but I love this side of her now. The softer Rihanna. Oh I just can't get over how gorgeous her hair looks in every shot. The styling was simple, it wasn't over the top and it made Rihanna look oh so naturally beautiful.

Oh NA NA what's her name? She is all about S&M and is the only girl in the world.

Paris fashion week Fall/Winter 2011 favourites. So so many favourites but to me here are my favourites. Alexander McQueen was phenomenal as usual. I sensed a mix of ice queen and maybe a little bondage perhaps? The photos may not bring justice to each garment but the details are so so intricate that it took my breath away. Sarah Burton definitely still manages to bring the distinct McQueen aesthetics which I just adore. It is distinct ,artistic and a little icy but not too cold. Giles Deacon did it for me again for his latest collection for Emanuel Ungaro. It was sophisticated, sexy and not trashy. It is classy sexy you know. Not many people would like it and it might be too sexy but I love sexy. Plus there is alot of sheer and lace pieces which always catches my eye because I love sexiness. To me, there isn't such thing as too sexy. Then we have Mugler by Nicola Formichetti who is the stylist extraordinaire to Lady Gaga. Mugler had this sex kitten slash cat women vibe to it. So Converse's third limited collection of Missoni for Converse Chuck Taylor All Star shoes for both men and women is now in Singapore. Bold and colourful lines, these Chucks will definitely spruce up any normal tee and jeans look. Loving the vibrant multi-colored horizontal stripe patterns which doesn't seem to be over the top, which I love, eventhough I always like it over the top. The colour is bold and striking with this season's trend of colourful strip patterns thanks to the Prada Spring/Summer 2011 collection where it was just strikingly bold with horizontal colourful lines. The Converse X Missoni is definitely a great have if you love your Chucks and want to be comfortable yet looking bold and fashionable. I love the Chucks which has the navy blue tongue with the colourful stripes. I swear that if you walk around in these, people will notice your feet first for sure. It is just so out there! Converse always does cool funky collaboration which I just adore. Plus Missoni will be the opening show at this year's Audi Fashion Festival. So these are great to wear to the show!

Favourites from Milan Fall/Winter 2011-2012. D&G and Dolce & Gabbana were my favourites. They are very different but both have their own distinct style and inspiration eventhough it is by the same designers. Big Bird left Sesame's Street to head to Milan to teach ABC at the D&G fashion show I guess. The prints were all just alphabets but the way it was done was so fun and cool that it didn't look like ABCs to me. The colour choices were just vibrant, striking and loud. I love anything that screams! Dolce & Gabbana had both masculine and feminine in their collection with stars, musical notes and sequins everywhere. The shoes, oh they are definitely going to be popular. Moschino Cheap and Chic's presentation was carefree, fun and just happy. With the hottest three cities in the world, Milan, Paris, New York as the inspiration, the collection was as fun as the presentation.

It is London Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2011-2012. So here are my favourites. Henry Holland always makes me smile someway somehow with House of Holland. His sense of humour in his designs and his choices of pattern and colours always puts a smile on my face. I see he loves his granny way too much. To me this isn't my favourite a/w collection from him as last a/w collection was so so good and it was my favourite. Giles Deacon went crazy with hair and I have never worn hair but it looks really good. Love me some hairy hair all over my body. Cruella De Vil and the dalmatians are in the building as Topshop Unique goes dalmatian crazy. Really cute collection with the dogs and everything.

Here are my favourites. You know I love anything bold, bright, loud and literal. If it screams, it is me. Colours are a must, with furs and I hate simplicity and all that jazz. You just need a burst of energy and zest for fall winter since it is all dull and black and gloomy. Fashion should be fun and I like designers who incorporate fun and also maybe a sense of playfulness with prints and colour. Jeremy Scott is always cool and individualistic. Betsey Johnson is just one crazy women with leopard craziness which I just adore. Prabal Gurung exudes elegance and colour which I just love and cant wait for him to come to the shores. Marc Jacobs is super chic and so is Marc by Marc Jacobs. I know my choices are way way extreme. From loud and obnoxious to chic and elegant. I am a total fashion mess. ENJOY GOD!

I want all three and hope it come to the sunny shores here. It cost US$70 each. It isn't that bad right? But I am a little dumb dumb so it is kinda hard for me to tell the time without the numbers. It will get confusing. But I am definitely getting one on my wrist. Either the yellow thunder lighting one or the whit one with those iconic Jeremy Scott wings. I say it looks amazing! A Hush hush presentation with Mama Wintour there and the best IT models walking plus some hags and celebs walking too. Plus I spot my Beyonce working it and Solange supporting her. The collection to me was feminine, fun yet so mesmerizing to look at. Great to have Tom Ford back in business. Is that you Terry Richardson trying to snap some high flashing shots! The show was very private, very intimate and very personal. I like it alot and I must say I do have a few favourites and the collection looks exquisite.

I could go on forever. But What I love about this spread is the crazy story behind how women will do anything in the name of fashion and beauty. So it must hurt to be this beautiful huh? Well the styling is amazing since it is done by Carine Roitfeld, Editor-in-Chief of Vogue Paris. So it hurts now but when the bandage is off you get a beautiful face like the first picture. Gorgeous! Saw these gorgeous pair of wedges on Terry Richardson's tumblr (follow mine here) and I was like WHAT! How was that made! I want one too! It looks so cool and it is unique and attention grabbing. It is a must have for attention whores who would want to tower everyone. Since layered wedges are in the trend now this is just superb. Plus these pair of uber cool Converse Chucks with layered platforms are custom made and it could be a DIY thing. So it is possible make one? And make my Chucks cool and crazy yet fun to wear.

I am still wondering how it was made. Here is my theory. Maybe the layered floating thingy, you know those things where swimmers use to aid themselves while swimming, is the base and the shoe was glued to it. Maybe. I ain't too sure about it but I might give it a try.

Plus the end result really looks like the gorgeous House of Holland X Charlotte Olympia layered wedges which by the way are to die for and until now I cannot get enough of them. They are high but I must say they look amazing! So this could be a cheaper DIY alternative maybe? And at a lighter note, if you happen to fall into the sea wearing these you will float. Right? Or you can use it as a flotation device. Nice! A shoe that not only looks good but may be used during to save your life during desperate moments. How crazy!

They are amazing and I just love their magazine and their view on fashion. To celebrate their 3oth Anniversary they have Supermodels Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell and superstar Lady Gaga to grace the cover for their 3oth Anniversary. Its all about"Then, Now, Next" in this issue.

The cover looks stunning and I must get my hands on it! Its just amazing to see fashion powerhouses gracing this iconic issue. This is a MUST HAVE issue. Happy Birthday to me.

7th August was my bdae! Recently had a nice birthday bash with fireworks and all as it was also the nation's birthday, 9th August. Had a great time out with the bitches Ashu, Annabelle, Elaine and Natiara. The fireworks were really pretty and with all the fighter jets and stuff was just awesome. It was a night to remember. Great company and just soaking up the atmosphere made me all patriotic. And no I do not want to turn 18! I feel old. I want to be forever young.

oil spill never looked so good

When I look at these I think its just sad to see that our environment is falling apart due to negligence and those stupid accidents they call oil spills. The environment suffers, the birds suffer, people suffer. There isn't anything beautiful about an oil spill and the recent BP oil spill at the Gulf of Mexico which was like a big drama mama scandal and all was just stupid! I think the colour palette of an oil spill is just plain boring, sometimes painful to look at and just gross.

Vogue Italia made oil spill look all fierce and ferocious with a fashion editorial in their recent issue (24 pages btw!) and shot my the ever talented Steven Meisel and modeled by the beautiful Kristen McMenamy. They made the oil spill look so good and fashionable. I never knew someone could still looks gorgeous and fierce covered in oil and lying down on disgusting oil infected water. The fashion pieces were just amazing! The styling was perfect for the theme, it was inspired by the colours we see during the destruction of oil spills and when animals are covered in oil. Styled by Karl Templer.

I felt it was artistic and Vogue Italia always goes over the edge. The gorgeous spread is simply titled "Water and Oil". Here are some of my favourites:

This particular photo is just so powerful. The model covered in oil looks like one of those animals covered in oil.

This whole editorial is just stunning. Like I said " oil spills never looks this fashionable!". I do care about the environment and this shows that the fashion industry takes note of the environment and what it is going through. After looking at these photos it makes me wonder what the animals go through when an oil spill occurs. Its just sad.

Vanity Fair's September 2010 cover girl is none other than the crazy eccentric stiletto whore Lady Gaga who poses nude on the cover and also nude in the fashion spread (as usual). She is working those crazy shoes and fashion which was shot by Nick Knight. Loving the long gray hair too. She looks good as always and i predict this issue to be a great September issue. Can't wait to get my hand on this issue.

Here are some old photos taken during a trip to a museum recently photographed and edited by the now popular and scandalous one in school, over taking me that is, Valerie. And the extra dude in the pictures who recently tweeted that he could not fit into his blazer which he bought last year. Its my friend Redzuan! Well could it be that he may have gotten a little chunky somewhere? He thinks it could be that he got more muscular. Bleah. Well he told me once that i wasn't a size 28 anymore since i could not fit into a spray on skinny Topman jeans which by the way was really tight. And now I am still working my butt off with my 28 inch waist!

And just today a girl in my school Hannah, asked me if I lost weight and I was like "What?!?! Really? Why thank you". To most people it might not be a good thing but to me being 28 forever is a must. Plus I'm still healthy. And Valerie is my gym buddy! Lets get tone!

Dueling divas and getting abused

Being a slave and getting "abused".

Recently I went to the Singapore Art Museum for the night festival with a bunch of friends. It was full of bondage fun and dancing diva drag queens. There was the "Abusement Park" where people can get abused for fun and pleasure. Kinky right? Slaves in chains. Canes of your choice. Diva drag queens in sequins and glitter. That is one night to remember at a museum. One of the highlights during the night festival was the drag queen show held at the SAM. It was my first time watching a tranny show with them jiggling ever thing they got! The energizing and high voltage burlesque by the divas from New Zealand were so funny and entertaining! It was FABULOUS! No wonder they are called Queens because they demand attention!

The “Abusement Park” was to showcase the act of abuse as entertaining. There were crazy torture devices displayed and also a booth where you could get caned with the cane of your choice. All this in the name of fun.

Plus i had a tarot card reading and the signs says that my future is looking bright with stars. Lets hope it does.

The skinniest celeb mum i know that comes into mind is the ever ferocious and never smiling Victoria Beckham. She since has ditched her short cropped hair which i totally love by the way, to a more sexy lengthy new hair. She is on the cover of the August issue of Vogue Turkey with a fashion spread of her and some very expensive clothes. Looking all seductive and mimicking her life as a paparazzi favourite and celeb for this shoot.

She looks very skinny as usual and this time she looks really edgy and cool on this Vogue cover. Not the usual glamazon and looking all prim and proper. A very photoshopped Victoria looks stunning of course and flawless as usual. But i feel she is a tad too skinny and that women has to be fed! She is wearing one of her own designs on the cover and she looks like she could barely walk with the Martini in her hand.

I stumbled upon these photos and something caught my eye. No not the models nor the clothes (eventhough they looks simply chic) but the background. Saw Sundays' Spring 2010 ad campaign at fashionisto and I was shocked to see a Singaporean label being featured there. Sundays is a Singaporean label and I am so proud to be Singaporean. Plus the background is the supposedly demolished and ancient Singapore National Stadium. After looking at the pictures, i didn't know that the stadium looked really nice. Those steps leading to the entrance. looks so pretty. I remembered walking up those stairs going for National Day. How memorable. The picture has this mixture of simplicity, softness and boyishness all at once. The clothes are really simple, soft clean cut yet very chic.

My favourite has to be Miranda Kerr and her gorgeous legs for Elle US June issue. This Australian supermodel is showing the world why she is a Victoria's Secret angel with that body of hers. Styled by Samuel François and Miranda looks smoldering hot with those clothes that fits her perfectly and accentuates her curves. She isn't skinny at all and damn that girls had all the right curves at the right place. Don;t let me start with the legs that looks like they are never ending. this editorial makes this angel look like a glamazonian devil who oozes high fashion.

Recently me and my two good friends Iffah and Elaine went to the House of Holland fashion show for the Audi Fashion Festival. Henry Holland was showing his A/W 2010 collection. Loved the music, models and definitely the people. Saw all these fashionable, chic rich ass people who were rocking everything high fashion. I might have felt a little out of place but who cares. Then I saw Bryan Boy and he walked pass me and my heart stop beating for a second. It was an awesome with stunning colours and the shoes which are to die for. Those platform wedges that Henry Holland collaborated with Charlotte Olympia.

Curvy Bootylicious for Chanel Cruise 2010 Collection

YES YES YES!!!!

Chanel finally has real women for their Cruise 2011 collection show at Saint-Tropez. Enough of those skinny bitches. Bring some ass, boobs and curves to the runway! Karl Lagerfeld actually had plus-size model Crystal Renn to walk the show and I must say she glows with confidence. She doesn't look any different than the other skinny models of the runway. Plus she brought personality to the runway unlike the mobots (robotic models). Well done Crystal!

The ever fierce and fabulous Tyra Banks, former supermodel, creator and host of the fiercest show on the planet America's Next Top Model and mogul is now putting being an author in her list of things she has become. So exciting isn't it. Miss Banks herself will write a series of books tittled Modelland. It sounds like a hit to me. It will be about teem models who have superpowers and some kind of magical model school (weird i know but nothings is confirmed yet). They are called 'Intoxibellas' and they are actually drop-dead beautiful, kick-butt fierce models who have superpowers. The book will be a series of 3 books! Wow Tyra Banks an author! Plus she has plans to making the series into a movie franchise. It seems that Tyra wants a slice of the pie since magical fantasy books eg. Twilight and Harry Potter became huge success with not only the book but also the movie. I hope Modelland will become a success. What do you mean hope it BLOODLY HELL will. Its my girl Tyra.

I think its gonna be magical, fun and it will definitely be fierce. I am so excited and I just can'twait for it. Whatever Tyra touches turns to gold! She is unstoppable. Do you think she can write? Well hell yeah! This is a book I will definitely read about. Models with superpowers puts a whole new meaning to Supermodel! Maybe supermodels really do have superpowers!

Once your a fabulous pregnant celebrity with a tummy so huge that it could burst any minute and looking all rounded, you will land a cover on a fashion magazine. for sure.A naked and very pregnant supermodel Claudia Schiffer is on the cover of the June issue of Vogue Germany and it was photographed by Uncle Karl (Karl Lagerfeld). Fashion magazines just love putting celebs on their cover when they are all pregnant and round. Its like there is this kind of high fashion vibe to a naked pregnant women looking all fierce since they are always PMS-ing. But I can't stop noticing how the Claudia's cover is so much similar to the infamous 1991 cover of Demi Moore on Vanity Fair. Both are photographed doing the same pose and both look like they are going to burst any time soon.

What happen Claudia? Maybe she didn't know how to pose with all that junk in the trunk and the front and had to copy Demi's pose. But I must say she looks amazingly vibrant and she is glowing! The hair looks effortlessly chic. And I bet she could lose the baby fat easily.

Saw this awesome fashion editorial photographed by Matthias Vriens-McGrath from the June issue of Numéro Tokyo and the stunning gorgeous model is Esther de Jong who looks great by the way. But the only think about this whole spread that I have been going cray cray about and is feeding my colour fetish. Its all thanks to the awesome and fierce styling. It is done by Jason Farrer and I must say it just fresh to see something so bright, vibrant and still fashionable with a touch of innocence or some sort of childishness (your inner child). You know I don't like having dull editorials and this one is juts fresh! It's just making me drool at all the colour and definitely the photography!

Went to the Singapore Art Museum recently for some kind of "excursion" and it was not that boring. So I had my good friend Valerie take some "paparazzi" like pictures acting all wannabe like when we were on our way to the Museum. I think Museums are just so chic don't you think? And I was werqing it with Sherry and we were all posey posey. We had so much fun that day.

I think Flintstones are really cute and adorable. And that is why I fell in love with Jeremy Scott's Spring/Summer collection which was inspired by the Flintstones and the stone age. Its quirky, colourful and very playful. I think the prints are absolutely to die for. I love it!

Arent they cute, just so cute. Those cute prints and hair! ARGH Jeremy Scott is a genius.

So I saw these awesome tank top with those hot Flintstones inspired prints. I just love it. Its bright, funky and unique. Sadly its like freaking $250 each. Too expensive, its just cray cray!

Recently I was kinda busy as I was in a drama production titled Ties. It was student directed and everything was done by us media students from my school and a group called Stage 52. From the stage managing, writing the script, lighting, sound, make-up, and everything. How awesome is that. Plus I had a great time rehearsing with awesome people and also the show was awesome and fabulous. I was playing a personal assistant to the lead character, So that explains my absence last week. But now, school just started and its like the third day of school and I am already exhausted.

Here are some pics during the show. The make up they did for me was awesome. Thanks to Candice and Shona. Plus Dionel the director was just so inspirational and made me feel that I can be a theater actor. I was of course fierce and fabulous during the show!

I think this is really cute and just adorable. Spanish Elle Magazine had a spread where famous fashion designers are turned into Disney characters and these Disney characters has distinctive looks to portray the designer's signature look. This just looks amazingly well drawn and its really creative, Plus I love anything Disney and I hope to go to Disneyland again some time soon as I love it there. Disney and fashion seems like a great collaboration. Really cool.

There was a certain mix of beauty and brawns. The male models were very distinct from Alessandra's poise and elegance.

Well I am not a huge fan of Coca-Cola because I find it too gassy at times .Plus it makes me burp whenever I drink it. But Coca-cola and fashion seems to be a great partnership and I must say a fashionable one too. Coca-cola has never looked so good. So Coca-cola had asked Chanel's designer Karl Lagerfeld or also known as Uncle Karl to design a special bottle and collectors edition box set for Coco-cola Light. And its really pretty because it has pink in it! Plus it looks really chic. Everyone who is weight conscious and wants to look fabulous drink Coke Light. Its supposedly healthier than the normal Coke. And Coca-cola Light is the favourite drink of most women.

The design of the bottle shows his signature silhouette and with its pink top and white bottle it just oozes chicness. Plus it has his signature on the bottle. It is so pretty!

Take a look at the limited edition bow for the bottle.

The box also comes with a bottle opener in a hidden drawer. The box looks very chic too.

and guess who is the face for the ad campaign.

it is no other than model Coco Rocha and Karl Lagerfeld's male muse Baptiste Giabiconi. They both look fabulous. So does drinking the Coca-cola Light make you look fabulous too?

Well I would love to get a bottle which cost EUR 3.50 per bottle. Well it does seem reasonable enough for a bottle of Coke Light designed by the famous and influential designer Karl Lagerfeld himself. But the box seems to be too expensive. It cost EUR 60 for the box. That is way too expensive. Well its nice to have a bottle as a collectors item. But I bet the coke inside would taste the same. So this is one fashionable drink!

THE HOME IS WHERE THE HEART IS

So i finally got my i-D Spring issue 2010 magazine thanks to the great people from i-D of course. They saw my blog post about how I am in love with their Spring issue especially the one with Freja Beha on it. So they liked my blog and they wanted to send me a copy. So I got it 2 days ago and I screamed when I saw it in the mail. I mean it was freaking Freja in my mailbox! The issue was thick and definitely awesome. I could not stop staring at Freja and her awesome fierce face on the cover. Plus it was nice and green.

My i-D magazine all ready for Spring surrounded by greenery. The magazine blends with the leaves.

This Spring issue is all about home. That is why they called it " The home is where the heart is issue". Since it is Spring season everything is just so fresh and refreshing. And I just love reading i-D. Its not your typical fashion magazine with all those glossy pictures and everything is high fashion, the magazine has really good articles and I think the contents are awesome too. And of course the fashion spread is great too.

I was happy to see the a small article dedicated to Miu Miu. I just adore those Miu Miu prints. Very pretty.

Then there was a fashion spread of model Abbey Lee Kershaw which was awesome. She is like the hottest top model now. She is everywhere, from the runways to the magazines and she really knows how to work it! Plus she was covered in gold and she was definitely fierce with very little clothes on.

And of course there was a spread for the other two cover girls for i-D magazine. There was Russian supermodel Natalia Vodianova who looks gorgeous in the magazine. I can't belive she is a mother. Plus the other cover girl is Dree Hemmingway who had a self styled shoot and was interviewed via BBM.

Then we have the cover girl Freja Beha who is also the 'it' model now. She is also everywhere on the runways and magazines. Sadly i don't really like her in runways because her walk looks kinda dead to me. But she definitely looks gorgeous and fierce for photos and fashion spreads. Just look at these.

So I really enjoyed reading and flipping through the i-D magazine. And I really want to thank the people from i-D for sending me a copy. A huge thank you! Plus i think i-D is one of the hottest magazine! And I really love the spring issue. Just look at me reading it.

Lastly, in the magazine they asked the question "If my house was on fire and I could only save one thing, it would be..." and my answer to the question is that I would save my laptop and my stash of fashion magazines. Well that's not one but who cares, I would say my cat but it ran away and never came back. It had already been a month.

My favourite and most loved supermodel and goddess of fierceness was recently in a fashion spread for L'Uomo Vogue for their Feb 2010 issue. She is no other than Tyra Banks herself. L'Uomo Vogue is the Italian Vogue for men. Its really nice and Ij ust stumbled upon this hot and fierce pictures of her. She really know how to work that camera. She was definitly modelling from head to the damn bloodly toe. Smiling with her eyes and of course she look so damn gorgeous. I love the styling and of course Tyra! Wish I could get a hand of the issue but sadly they don't sell it here. Damn. But I am so happy when Tyra is in magazines and fashion editorials.

This is the first time I was impressed with how a male model could actually pose and really look like music icons and I am convinced. That male model is no other than Karl Lagerfeld's male muse Baptiste Giabiconi who was the on the cover of L’Officiel Hommes China’s Icons issue. He posed and impersonated music icons like Michael Jackson to Prince and even Lady Gaga. He is so diverse and he really pulled it off. I mean not many male models can impersonate a range of characters. From a hip hop rapper like 50 cent to the ever flamboyant David Bowie plus he is the only male model who I know who could pull off a Lady Gaga look and make it work. Amazing job! No wonder he is Uncle Karl's muse.

I love the 3 covers for the i-D Magazine for Spring 2010. Its fresh, refreshing and colourful. They had supermodels Sasha Pivovarova, Freja Beha and Natalia Vodianova grace the cover. The theme is "Home Is Where the Heart Is". I really want to get a hand on one. Especially the Freja one in green. She looks good. And as always the i-D style is one eye closed and the other open. Love it. Love the spring cover. Spring always makes me happy and jolly.

Supermodels have super powers

Who is on the cover of US Vogue for the 11th time? It is no other than the supermodel Gisele Bündchen who just recently gave birth to a baby boy and damn can she still maintain and keep her supermodel body with ease. She is making thousand of women jealous and she doesn't even look like she have birth with no marks no fats, nothing! That is why she is a supermodel and the rest of us aren't. She looks stunning in the Vogue spread where it shows clearly that her body went no where since she gave birth. And there was a picture of her and her baby son Benjamin Rein Brady. They look so loving eventhough we don't get to see the baby's face, just his little butt crack and that it. Don't we all want a supermodel mummy. She looks amazingly beautiful in the Vogue spread.

Gisele you definitely proved us why you are a Supermodel with that body of yours which every women envy and desire to have.

I really think these supermodels do have secret super powers. I don't know how they looks so damn gorgeous eventhough they just gave birth or when they are pregnant or when they are old. I mean look at Elle Macpherson who is already 47 years old and still look gorgeous when she walked down the runways of Paris recently in the Louis Vuitton Fall/Winter 2010-2011 show where she closed the show. She look gorgeous for a 47 year old and she is still a supermodel. She was working the runway. Just look at her.

Yes i really do think that supermodels are really women with super powers. The power to stay gorgeous no matter what. Oh don't we all want that power.

back from bangkok

Yes I am back from a shopping trip with my mum at Bangkok and I had fun. It was my first time in Bangkok and we seriously shopped from morning till night. From the morning market to the night market. There is everything for everyone and there were many cheap stuff if you know where to go and how to bargain. I got lots of cute tee and accessories, a shoe some colourful shades flip flops and other stuff. Oh and I got myself a pair of green contacts which can last me for 1 year. It looks great. I had to taste some delicious food and some street foods which were cheap and good too. Everything there was cheap especially the street food. And the clothes were cheap too. I went to Pratunam Market and also MBK to get my hair cut. The salons in Bangkok are horrible. Yes they are cheap but they were so rough washing my hair and it was the first time I felt some pain while cutting my hair! I was so busy shopping here and there and rushing here and there that I had no time for any photos. Plus had a great time with my mum's friend who showed us around in Bangkok during our last day. I only got to take one picture of myself on the last day in the cab. How sad.

Yes this was the only photo I took in Bangkok. I was in the cab on my way to meet my mum's friend in Bangkok and to have some spicy Thai food before catching our flight back home.

it was an awesome experience to shop in Bangkok eventhough the weather was mad hot.

Ok enough of Bangkok I still thing I have to say something about this!

Just look at it. This was from the Chanel F/W 2010-2011 show in Paris recently and my goodness. This look was the men's look. The women's look were kind of crazy too I guess. The Yeti or Big Foot or some crazy hairy monster took over the Chanel show. It was fur crazy. It was fur every where but I was happy that they were all fake fur but still. This to me was the worst Chanel show ever because of the fugly fur everywhere but the setting was nice. The models were walking on water. And I heard Uncle Karl is going to announce his successor. Who could it be? Rumors are saying it could be Lanvin's Alber Elbaz.

In camp now in the loft. Can't really blog. But took some photos and its like 4am in the morning and I can't sleep. So we had a mini photoshoot! Ok maybe not. But still, we look kinda glam at 4 in the morning and I look fresh and ready to go (as usual) unlike the others. Drinking Red Bull makes me so high. Today is our last night of this "bonding" camp. So its just me and 4 others in the living room. Slumbering and just being happy.

GOD SAVE THE QUEEN

The last collection from Alexander McQueen shown in Paris recently. It wasn't a fashion show but a small presentation. It was very quiet and emotional. The Alexander McQueen last Fall/Winter 2010-2011 collection that was designed by him. I loved everything about it from the prints to the shoes and to the structuring of the outfits. The collection was breathtaking.

One word to describe it:
STUNNING

This was my four favourites from the small collection.
This is very McQueen. Revolutionary, daring and making a statement in the fashion world.
Will be sad that we won't be seeing this kind of work of genius anymore.

To me the best dressed for the Oscars is no other than the beautiful Zoe Saldana who was in a beutiful purple dress from Givenchy Haute Couture S/S 2010 collection. When I first saw it (click here), I was in love with the ruffles and of course the awesome colour, since I am a purple addict. So I say the Oscar goes to her for looking so ravishingly stunning.

Thank god her make up was not that racoon eyed make up! The purple really goes well with her skin tone and pairing it with a simple purple diamond ring to complement those purple ruffles. is just lovely. It looks better on her than it looks on the runway. Stunning!

Fashion makes you fat?

I always thought it was because if the fashion industry that made women think that the perfect body is a stick thin one. And many women thinks that fashion makes women feel skinny and that fashion is the reason many women diet so as to fit into those expensive and gorgeous outfits. But is fashion making women look fat and is fashion is being incorporated in safety wear? I think so, after looking at the Comme des Garçons Fall/Winter 2010-2011 collection. I think they wanted to have fashionable and safe outfits with loads of padding and also to make women's hips and waist look extremely huge when wearing their outfits. I mean just look at them, they make these already stick thin models look so fat and padded that if any of the models were to be in a car crash while wearing the outfit they won't even have a scratch on the. They might even bounce when they jump down a building.

With pads like that all over the body I think they will never get her and if a bullet comes straight at them I bet the bullet will bounce back! Those pads are so hideous that they look like fats bulging out or like the models have like multiple breast. They look like life jackets.

and hips don't lie.

Those padding sure made the models cry their lungs out to see that their waist have been enlarged 5 times. The outfit really made the hips look wider and so unflattering. The white number with those hideous intestine like padding makes me sick in the stomach. I just can't look at intestine like things. The white outfit is the worst!

Fashion can make you look pregnant.

An outfit that will make people thing you are pregnant. Who in the world would want to wear something so padded like this. I know there are such thing as shoulder pads but too much padding makes you look bloated and pregnant. Oh god.

So if you want to be safe from any harm or for some reason have a fetish for white intestine or wanting to look pregnant for some reason then the collection is for you.

Paris is going crazy.

I did not get to catch much of the Paris Fashion Week as I have been really busy with work and I am just so exhausted nowadays. So when I was checking to see what was happening during Paris Fashion Week and to see if there was anything that caught my eyes, I was shocked to see crazy outfits which was like one hot mess and a mixture of colours and fabrics all mixed into a washing machine. I mean first I saw the Jean Paul Gaultier Fall/Winter 2010-2011 collection and I was like shocked to see the outfits being inspired my some Tibetan influences and also some Chinese influences with its prints. But I have to say the collection was more influenced by the Tibetan culture. From those string and earth like colours to the patterns he used and also the fabric. I felt that some of the head pieces were kinda cool but very Tibet. I think I can just see Tibetan women climbing the Mount Everest in these Jean Paul Gaultier outfits. Those are some glamorous high fashion Tibetan women.

The first outfit has some kind of animal up there. Its so thick and bushy. If ever a Tibetan women is to wear the second outfit, she is the Lady Gaga version in Tibet. Tibet is so coll and I will be amazed they wear that outfit. But I love the detailing though. Coco Rocha is having some kind of Chinese influence in her outfit. It has a hint of a cheongsam in it. And what is up with the turban. And the last outfit is crazy! the patterns are very Tibet like but that head piece is too much. Its like a fuzzy donut around her face. Maybe the Tibetan version of Lady Gaga would wear it. Is it to keep the face warm. But I feel the colours and patterns and prints has so much Tibetan influence in them. I think its not that bad. The colours are not too in your face.

Then we have the ever crazy lady of fashion. Vivienne Westwood and her crazy outfits. The Vivienne Westwood Fall/Winter 2010-2011 collection was the epitome of craziness. The outfits were all over the place. This is what I call a hot mess. the models look like trannys or like some shemales with that moustache and make up. I can't even tell if the models are male or female.

The first outfit I think is nice because of the tulle and the draping but the model looks like a men. Don't let me start with the black model. Seriously? The collection wouldn't be too cray if the models were all hot and weren't made to have moustaches drawn on their face. I felt those paper crowns are so cute and it looks like those drawn on kids fairytale story books. but I feel this is too much. The prints are all too painful to look at especially the second last outfit. Its like a tranny had been inside a washing machine with some crazy prints and that's what you get. If you see the whole collection, there are some nice pieces though. Love the craziness put not a fan of those prints!

But I still love you V! Cos you are one crazy lady whose collection never fail to make me feel happy in some way. I think she makes us feel like we are in another world. The Vivienne World which is playful and full of craziness with no restrictions.

miu miu

I feel that this editorial by Interview Magazine featuring Miu Miu S/S10 collection is just immaculate, pretty, soft and just incredibly gorgeous. The outfits are great. The styling and those Miu Miu outfits and prints that everyone wants a piece of just go so well together. It's so unique and everyone is talking about it that even I am obsessed with it. There is the naked women prints that I like which I don't think is trashy or porn like. It's art, seriously. And of course the cat prints which I just adore. Take a look.

the ZEBRA was here

Zebra zebra zebra everywhere. The ever infectious zebra prints that would make many go crazy and start hyperventilating when they see and start some tribal african dance when they see it. I love it but I am not some fanatic. I know some people would just want everything in zebra prints. But for me there is a limit and there can be too much zebra prints! During the recent Blumarine 2010-2011 show in Milan which happened recently had zebra prints everywhere. I mean seriously, I felt that maybe a herd of zebras was trashing the Blumarine's studio and had their prints all over the clothes. The Blumarine's collection was full of zebra prints and there was no stopping the zebra. The prints was on the coats the shoes, the bags and of course the clothes. To me Blumarine did go just a little far with the zebra prints. I feel that if zebra prints was used wrongly it will look trashy or you can look like some african queen. But Blumarine made the zebra prints look glamorous and all but it was a tad too tacky. Is it too much?

so this Zebra made a huge ass impact in Blumarine's Fall/Winter collection.

here is are some of the zebra prints that went all crazy and made a chaotic mess. ok maybe not.

The Zebra is taking over the fashion world! But those zebra printed booties looks cute though. And that zebra trench coat is my favourite, it looks hot fierce like an african queen. And not many people can pull off a full outfit with zebra prints from head to toe. But I think the zebra printed jeans worked for me too. So it wasn't that huge of a mess. It wasn't too bad.

so I liked Zebra prints too. But I know my limits.

Feathers and Lace in Milano

Now the Gucci Fall/Winter 2010-2011 show. Two words.
LACE and FEATHERS. The combination of two had some hits and misses. Just take a look.

Those feathers on the sleeves are really nice but I felt having feathers on the bottom of the dress looks hideous and unflattering. And Chanel Iman's outfit where the LBD was given feathers on the top and it looks choking and its like a bush of feathers on her neck. My favourite had to be the first one. The right amount of feathers and some skin to show too.

Feathers were also seen on the runways of DSquared2 Fall/Winter 2010-2011 show.

Those red feathers really worked it for me with a bit of volume but not too much.But for the second outfit I felt the feathers made her waist look bigger. I think it was at the wrong place. Looks like some little wings on the side of her butt. So unflattering. Feathers looks good if they are placed properly and not just plastered anywhere.
